She understands the needs of a busy professional with little time to drive to a studio and wait to have his/her professional headshot taken. Q. How do I schedule an appointment and redeem my Facebook?
A. When you are ready to schedule your portrait session, call Cynthia phone 203-364-1592
We will discuss dates and times that are convenient for you. We have various locations throughout Connecticut where Cynthia sets up her studio to create business portraits. Perhaps one of the dates/times at these locations will be convenient for you. Send an email so we can notify you of these dates/locations. Of course, Cynthia can come to your office for your session if so desired! The expiration date for your Facebook Coupon is six months because Cynthia become extremely busy in the fall with no available times for business portraits. Therefore, it is best not to wait to redeem your coupon.
Q Can I use my Facebook Coupon for other types of portraits like family, child, maternity, actor/model headshots, etc?
A While Cynthia McIntyre is a skilled portrait photographer in all of these various types of portraiture as well as event photography (weddings, Mitzvahs, reunions, etc), the Facebook Coupon can only be used for business headshots~not acting or model headshots.
Q. Will I be able to select the background for my portrait?
A Yes, Cynthia has a variety of solid colored backgrounds to select from. When we schedule a time for your portrait session we will discuss the best color to use for your background. We will also provide suggestions regarding clothing, hair and make up to ensure you look your best! You may prefer to use your environment as the background- your office, a conference room, the warehouse, etc. Only one background can be used per portrait session and no clothing changes are allowed.
Q Can I change clothing?
A The portrait session for the FACEBOOK COUPON does not allow for clothing changes. However, you may change your attire for an additional fee of $25 per outfit.
Q. What if I need to reschedule the session?
If you need to cancel your appointment time for reasons other that weather, and if you give at least 24 hours notice, you can reschedule the appointment once with no penalty. However, if you do not give 24 hours notice or you are a "no show" at your assigned time, you will be required to pay an additional $25 fee to Cynthia McIntyre Photography to rebook the session. If you cancel a second time (even with 24 hours notice) you will be required to pay the $25 re-booking fee to book a third session.
Q. Do I get any prints or files for the Facebook Coupon special price.
A. Your Facebook Coupon is for the creation fee for Cynthia McIntyre's time and talent in creating a studio quality professional business portrait . You will also receive a high resolution file of one pose/photograph. The file of one pose/photograph will be emailed to you two formats: high resolution (for use with print) and low resolution (for internet use). This file will be emailed to you. If you would like it to me burned to a CD and mailed to you, an additional fee will be required.
Q. How long will the session last?
A A busy professional usually has very little time to sit down for a portrait. Therefore, most sessions are about 15 min. in length. However, your session can be up to one hour in length if this would be your preference.
Q How many photographs will Cynthia take during my business portrait session?
A Cynthia usually takes about 75-150 portraits during a typical 15 min. session and you will have at least 50 proofs to select from. During the session, Cynthia will show you the portraits on the back of her camera to ensure that you will have many acceptable portraits to select from
Q Are the digital files / portraits retouched.
A YES! All portraits are retouched before the digital file is released to you. Cynthia, or her very skilled graphic artist, will retouch your portrait to ensure you look your best. The retouched portrait will be posted in your online gallery to ensure that it is 100% acceptable before it is emailed to you. Cynthia McIntyre Photography wants you to proudly display your portrait so we will work with you to make certain that your portrait is retouched to YOUR satisfaction!
Q. What happens if I do not like any of my portraits?
A Cynthia will show you the images as she creates them so you will be able to view them and ensure that they are acceptable before she finishes your portrait session. She will not leave until you have confirmed that you have ample proofs from which to select your final business portrait! Cynthia is very skillful with professional portrait lighting and posing to maximize your appearance. Her encouraging words and open personality will help you feel at ease during the portrait session. Her clients frequently tell her "I never take good pictures" and then following the session say "Wow, I have never seen such a great photograph of myself!"
Q After the session when will I be able to see the proofs?
A Typically, Cynthia posts the proofs within 2 weeks following a session. However, if you need your business portrait on a urgent basis, she will accommodate your request. Once they are edited, cropped and color corrected, the will be posted in a private gallery at www.CynthiaMcIntyre.com We will send you an email with the password and log in information. You can view and order your prints and/ or high resolution files online and pay for them with a debit / credit card or check. Full payment is required before the portraits are retouched or processed any further. At the time of your portrait session, you will be provided information regarding services and print prices by Cynthia McIntyre Photography. Q Can I get print copies of my proofs?
A. No, to keep costs (and prices charged to clients) low, Cynthia McIntyre Photography does not offer printed proofs. She only makes available online proofs. A great deal of work and effort has gone into the creation and maintenance of her online gallery to ensure that your proofs are clearly visible to you and easy to order. If you have any questions about your portraits or need assistance with placing an order you are encourage to call Cynthia McIntyre Photography 203-364-1592.
Q. Are the proofs retouched?
A No. Retouching a single portrait can take 15-60 minutes. Therefore, the proofs are not retouched. However, your final selected
portrait will be retouched at no extra charge before it is released to you.
Q. Will I receive my file in the mail or email?
A. Cynthia McIntyre's business clients prefer receiving the file via email. However, if you prefer to receive the high resolution file via a DVD and mailed via US MAIL, an additional handling and shipping fee of $20 will be charged.
Q. How long does it take to receive my file after I have ordered it online?
A Most orders are filled withing 2 weeks. However, if you need the file more quickly, simply notify Cynthia via email (info@cynthiamcintyre.com) and she will make every effort to meet your needs.
